DANI HEMEON

U16 Coach

Coach Dani Hemeon was born and raised in Gilroy, California where she played field hockey for Infinity Field Hockey and Gilroy High School. Coach Dani is a teacher at Christopher High School, where she also coaches both Varsity and JV Cougar Field Hockey teams.

In 2008/2009, Dani was a USA Field Hockey Junior Olympian,  2010 & 2012 California Senior High Performance team member, 2011 Midwest Junior High Performance team member and was selected to 2011 & 2012 Junior National Team Camp.

Dani received a scholarship to play Field Hockey for the Division 1- Iowa State Buckeye's, where she played in 77 career games (starting 61 games) and earned academic All-Big Ten honors in her Junior and Senior year.

Dani has also been a member of the 2012-14, USA U21 Junior National Squad and has most recently been selected to the USA Women's Development Squad for the 2017 & 2018 years.

We are very fortunate to have such a talented player within our coaching staff, but Dani's biggest attribute, that she brings to the Infinity Field Hockey program, is her love and passion for the game of field hockey.
